Her energy and leadership has helped companies, including ManpowerGroup, to achieve distinguished levels of customer service and financial performance. She passionately believes that, ordinary people can deliver extraordinary results, given the invitation to believe in the goal and the opportunity to contribute towards its achievement. Today she is the Chair of the Employment Committee, an active member of the Board of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and partners with a small number of leading companies helping them to achieve a competitive edge and to lead change successfully. Since October 2018 she has been assigned the General Direction of the Council on Competitiveness for Greece – CompeteGR
Venetia is a natural communicator with the ability to lead, build and motivate executive teams and to engage them throughout an organization. Her drive and passion were apparent from an early age when she qualified as a Marketer, then as a Research Officer in Strategic Planning in Banking, and completed her PhD before pursuing a career that took her through the ICT and the manufacturing industry to the Human Resources advisory services, where she was appointed as the President and Managing Director of ManpowerGroup for more than 14 years, solidifying the company’s reputation in Greece turning it into a valuable partner for both public and private companies and organizations.
Venetia is recognized for bringing a commercial, practical and holistic approach to all of her engagements, a trait highly valued by her clients. Venetia speaks at conferences and publishes articles across labor market, employment and strategic business issues, corporate governance, competitiveness and leadership.
